Strengthening Winter Resilience and Access to Life-Saving Protection Support – a New Project Supporting Families in Eastern Ukraine ❄️

Since the beginning of October, the Foundation’s team has launched an important initiative aimed at supporting families living in affected communities of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions who face additional challenges during the winter period.

🫂 What the project support includes:

🔹 Psychosocial support: group and individual sessions for adults and children, providing a safe space to express emotions, receive support, and feel secure.

🔹 Individual and group psychological counseling: professional assistance in coping with anxiety, stress, burnout, and emotional changes.

🔹 Humanitarian assistance: support for families in preparing for the cold season and ensuring warmth in their homes through heating briquettes, as well as referrals to cash assistance programs for winter preparedness.

🔹 Individual social case management: support in difficult life circumstances, assistance in finding solutions, and access to necessary services.

🔹 Legal counseling: provision of legal assistance to adults and older people, particularly on housing, land, and property issues, as well as legal support for survivors of gender-based violence, children, and people at risk.

🔹 Protection counseling: information on safety, human rights, and response mechanisms in crisis situations.

We work to ensure that every family can receive the support they need — professional, humane, and accessible 💙
