Specialists from the Rescue Assistance Center in Sumy visited a gynecological barrier-free access office to establish referral systems. This office operates 24/7, including weekends, and provides free services.
“Medical assistance for survivors of sexual violence, especially during wartime, is critically important. Timely and regular examinations positively impact the sexual, reproductive, and psychological health of women and girls,” stated Kateryna Marchenko, administrator of the Rescue Assistance Center.
The barrier-free access office, supported by UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is equipped with modern, inclusive facilities. The office is located at: Sanatorna Street 3, Sumy. Contact number: +38 (098) 817-95-50. All services are provided free of charge and confidentially.
